After a little "pajama playtime" we continued my parents "sight-seeing" with a ride on the Metro. We rode from the Dubai Marina to the Mall of Emirates. We had lunch at the mall, rode back and went grocery shopping at the Marina Mall. It was Savannah's first full day of errands! The Metro is Dubai's public transportation. We rode in the "gold class" section, which costs a little more but is not as crowded and much easier with the stroller and Savannah. Currently only the "red line" is operational with the "green line" still under construction. Several more stations are due to open this month and once the "green line" opens the Dubai Metro will become the longest automated metro network in the world. (Would Dubai do it any other way?)
