Today we are in the US! There is a great feeling when you see the "Welcome to the United States" sign in customs!
We left last night and flew from Dubai to Atlanta (almost 16 hours!) and then Atlanta to Daytona Beach. We are spending the next week with my family to celebrate my Nana's (and Savannah's Great Nana's) 90th Birthday! Savannah did pretty good on the flight, The first few hours were rough, as it was WAY past bedtime but once she fell asleep she did okay. Of course she fell asleep at our gate on the layover in Atlanta and slept the 45 minute flight to Florida.
Savannah also had her own seat this time, which she loved and provided us with a little extra space.
