The Great Wall is located up in the mountains so to reach the top you have to take a short gondola ride. There are different sections of the wall that tourists can visit. We chose "Mutianyu". This particular section is known as one of the best places to see the Great Wall, but it tends to not be as crowded as some of the other sections. This is the same section that Bill Clinton visited during his presidency.
